Lane Kiffin is reportedly ready to board the LSU jet on Sunday afternoon, but the rumors prepared Ole Miss fans to see it coming.

The real shocker was in the reported queue following Kiffin to the jet.

Lane Kiffin's poaching threats got real

When Ole Miss reportedly denied Kiffin to coach in the College Football Playoff, Kiffin flipped out with an outrageous threat of poaching top players and staff members.

From the breaking reports, Kiffin followed through on his warning.

On3's Chris Low reported Kiffin issuing an ultimatum to Ole Miss staff members to board the jet with him or else lose their spot on his staff.

"He's told them if they’re not on the plane to Baton Rouge today, they won’t have a spot on staff," Low reported.

Kiffin taking parts of the team he has built throughout his six years in Oxford puts Ole Miss in a seriously concerning position in the College Football Playoff.

"Ole Miss assistants have been told by school, 'if you’re going, go now'," USA Today's Matt Hayes added about the situation.

And that is just talking about the staff. Kiffin's threat had luring the top players away as well.

Brett McMurphy reported how "Lane Kiffin is 'essentially demanding to finish the season (w/Ole Miss) while simultaneously threatening to poach' Ole Miss’ roster & staff if he can’t."

Kiffin has built most of his roster out of transfer portal student-athletes. Some of them will definitely won't mid switching to LSU to keep on playing under the 50-year-old for possibly better NIL deals.

"The Tigers have a press conference scheduled for Monday to officially introduce Lane Kiffin as its next head coach," Low further reported about the yet-to-be-announced official statement.
