"Stop focusing on the wrong s**t," Pete Golding said when talking about the LSU showdown.

He applied the same philosophy when it came to Lane Kiffin, and took out the higher road to end their feud altogether that's been going on for the past few weeks.

Kiffin has been coming at Ole Miss fans and Golding with a complete no-holds-barred approach whichever chance he gets. Golding's golf sessions, or just a simple tweet directly addressing the Rebel fans, Kiffin hasn't held back once bit.

Instead, he's loved every bit of the drama.

No bad blood: Pete Golding on Lane Kiffin

On Thursday, Golding confirmed that the banter between them is all that was: just drama and no bad blood.

"The good thing about Lane is you get Lane. The bad thing about Lane is you get Lane," Golding said on April 29 at the Regions Tradition Pro-Am in Hoover, Alabama, in a video posted by Lynden Blake.

"We're good friends and we poke at each other a little bit, but there's no ill intention."

Golding added how the tweets are just half of what the fans sees. Several times, those jabs come in as texts from Kiffin, and it's something they've shared from the time they've worked together.

The trolling, from both Ole Miss fans' and Kiffin's side, doesn;t affect that bnond they've shared.

"I hope him success and all that, and appreciative for the opportunity he created for me when I was there and everything else," Golding added. "So there's no bad blood between coach Kiffin and I."

Golding might be all forgiving, but it'll be pure cinema seeing the Rebel fans settling months of frustration and anger when Kiffin comes back to the Sip on Sep. 19.
