2026 four-star receiver Jordon Gidron to visit Oxford this weekend
Ole Miss's 2025 recruiting is going well, but that does not stop Lane Kiffin from recruiting classes further ahead. The program has identified several top targets and is making contact with others. One 2026 prospect will be on the Ole Miss campus this weekend.
2026 four-star receiver Jordon Gidron will be in Oxford on May 31, with Kiffin and wide receivers coach George McDonald looking to propel Ole Miss's chances of a commitment. The South Carolina prospect is trending toward his home state, with Alabama and Florida State also leading in his recruitment.
Gidron is rated a four-star prospect across three top recruiting sites. The Ridge View High School prospect is ranked as high as the No. 8 wide receiver via 247Sports. He holds offers from several of the top schools in the nation.
Lane Kiffin utilizes a variety of receivers on the offense. However, his No.1 receiver has measured around 6 feet 2 inches and 185 pounds over the last several seasons. Gidron fits in with these measurements, so Kiffin could have him as a top target.
2027 recruit Jeremiah Dent is also set for a weekend visit
One player from the 2027 recruiting class that Ole Miss is high on is Jeremiah Dent. The running back will be back on campus this weekend for his second visit to Oxford in 2024, having visited in spring.
Dent has early interest from several teams, including Arkansas and Notre Dame. The Arizona native played numerous positions in high school, but running back looks to be the position he will settle on.
Ole Miss has 2025 five-star running back Akylin Dear potentially heading to Oxford next season. He is expected to be the focal point in the backfield for three seasons. Could Jeremiah Dent be the next top receiver to take over from Dear in the future?
