Could one of these three players be the next commitment for Ole Miss Football?

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin is actively still working the transfer portal and recruiting the 2025 class. It feels like we are close to another commitment for the Rebels. Could it be one of the players below?

A college football head coach never stops working, especially when building for the future. Lane Kiffin has been one of the best at utilizing the transfer portal and recruiting top talent from future classes.

There have been plenty of positive whispers around the Ole Miss program regarding more players potentially committed to the Rebels. Could one of the below three players be the next through the door?

Chris Hardie, Defensive Lineman

The spring transfer portal commitments have been running back heavy for Ole Miss thus far. Recently missing out on former South Alabama linebacker Khalil Jacobs, Lane Kiffin is pulling out the stops to land a commitment from defensive lineman Chris Hardie.

The Jacksonville State transfer visited Oxford this past weekend, posting photos and thanking the staff and coaches for the hospitality. Hardie had already visited UCF and was slated to visit Oklahoma this week.

A four-year player with the Gamecocks, Chris Hardie earned First-Team All-Conference USA honors last year. His 2023 season numbers were his best by far, posting 60 tackles, 8.5 sacks and one interception. He featured little in his first two seasons before his breakout season in 2022, where he had 5.5 sacks and 36 tackles.

The Ole Miss defensive front is one of the strongest in college football. If Chris Hardie were the next 2024 commitment for the Rebels, it would be outrageous, with a defensive line rotation as good as anybody's.
