Current Ole Miss running back Rashad Amos replies to Quinshon Judkins's social media post

Social media got a little spicy today with a mini back-and-forth between current Ole Miss running back Rashad Amos and former running back Quinshon Judkins.

A week ago, we saw Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin put former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown in his place on social media. Today, a former Ole Miss running back had a shady post towards current Rebels running back Rashad Amos.

Former Miami (OH) running back Rashad Amos was one spring transfer Ole Miss looks forward to seeing on the field in 2024. Amos joined a talented group at running back, rushing for over 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns during the 2023 season.

Today, Amos replied to a shady comment from former Ole Miss running back Quinshon Judkins on social media. After the On3 Ole Miss site dropped an article suggesting Amos could be the potential replacement for the departed Judkins, Amos replied with an emoji suggesting he was ready.

What was a non-hateful post was taken negatively by Judkins, who replied to the emoji with his own, a laughing face emoji. Amos replied, "Nvm, I'm trash; I'm sorry."

That followed with a couple more posts, with Amos potentially aiming a post on "X" toward Quinshon Judkins, taking a swipe at his performances from last season.

Quinshon Judkins entered the transfer portal on January 5 and later committed to Ohio State. At the time, this was seen as a big loss for Ole Miss until Lane Kiffin brought in several talented running backs via the portal and kept Ulysses Bentley IV on the roster.

Rashad Amos should use the comment as fuel on the field

Coming off a good season with Miami (OH) in the MAC, Rashad Amos will want to show he has what it takes to return to the SEC. Amos didn't see much action with South Carolina during the 2021 and 2022 seasons, but he has grown as a player since then.

He should be using the shade thrown by Quinshon Judkins as fuel on the field in 2024. The comment from Judkins was a strange one, as Amos did not throw any hate towards him or his game before the post.

Who doesn't love a social media exchange? One thing is for sure: I can't wait to see Rashad Amos on the field this season.
