A week out from the Ole Miss Football junior day, the Rebels have made several 2025 recruits' final shortlist.
It's been over a week since Ole Miss Football held their junior day, grabbing a commitment the next day from four-star linebacker Corey Amos. Over the last couple of days, the Rebels have made the shortlist for several 2025 recruits.
The first player to release his shortlist was four-star safety/linebacker Jarcoby Hopson. Ole Miss made Hopson's top eight, alongside Texas, LSU, Auburn, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Miami.
A Mississippi native, Hopson has received two crystal ball predictions from 247 Sport staff, including Mississippi State insider Steve Robertson. Hopson is the fifth-ranked player from the state of Mississippi.
Another four-star player who released their top eight was wide receiver Travis Smith. The number 26 ranked WR named Ole Miss alongside Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Colorado, Oklahoma, Georgia and Georgia Tech.

Mantez Walker and Travis Smith are both Georgia natives. However, neither Georgia or Georgia Tech made Walker's top five.
Ole Miss has been hitting the 2025 recruiting trail hard, with a handful of crystal ball predictions in for several players, three of whom are from the state of Mississippi. Linebacker Jarcoby Hopson, running back Akylin Dear and defensive lineman Andrew Maddox.
Andrew Maddox is the younger brother of 2024 quarterback recruit Anthony Maddox, who committed to Ole Miss in December, having flipped from Texas A&M.
With plenty of time until the 2025 National Signing Day, Ole Miss have started fast in trying to add future talent. With the latest coaching additions for Lane Kiffin's team, expect recruiting to be even stronger for the Rebels.
