Phil Steele has released his preseason honors list for the SEC and All-American teams. The Rebels saw eleven players make All-SEC teams, with three making it as All-Americans. Tre Harris, Caden Prieskorn, and Texas A&M transfer Walter Nolen were awarded All-American honors.

Wide receiver Tre Harris was named Second Team All-American, and tight end Caden Prieskorn and defensive tackle Walter Nolen were both named to the Third Team All-American.

Harris and Prieskorn will return to the Ole Miss offense after excellent debut seasons with the Rebels. Both players showed what they could do during the Peach Bowl win over Penn State. Harris and Prieskorn combined for 270 receiving yards, with the big tight end securing two touchdowns.

Walter Nolen, transferred in this off-season from Texas A&M. It's rare you get a talented defensive lineman from the transfer portal. However, head coach Lane Kiffin has worked his magic, beefing up the Ole Miss defensive line for the 2024 season. Nolen had 66 tackles, 11 TFLs, and five sacks in his two seasons with the Aggies.

11 Ole Miss players receive All-SEC honors from Phil Steele

With Ole Miss having 11 players make Phil Steel's All-SEC teams, they had the third most in the conference behind Georgia and Alabama.

Tre Harris, Caden Prieskorn, and Walter Nolen were First-Team selections alongside All-American honors. Two players from the Rebels' impressive transfer portal class, receiver Antwane Wells and defensive back Isaiah Hamilton, received second-team honors.

Three defensive players made the All-SEC Third Team. Returnees J.J. Pegues and John Saunders were joined by Florida transfer Princely Umanmielen. Quarterback Jaxson Dart made it onto the fourth team alongside receiver Jordan Watkins and transfer linebacker Chris Paul.

Five of the eleven All-SEC players were picked up from Ole Miss's number one transfer portal class. The big surprise was that Jaxson Dart made just the Fourth Team, with a legitimate argument for a Third or Second Team honor.
