The date of the 2024 Grove Bowl was announced today via an announcement from Ole Miss Athletics. The event will be held on Saturday, April 13, at the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, starting at 3 p.m. CT.

There will be plenty of eyes on the Grove Bowl this season, with Ole Miss ranked highly by many media outlets. The Rebels had the number one ranked transfer portal class, securing commitments from Walter Nolen, Princely Umanmielen, Antwane 'Juice' Wells and others.

The Grove Bowl will be the first look at Lane Kiffin's new players for fans, with the game bringing a close to spring practice for the Rebels.

Ole Miss brought in 17 players from the transfer portal and added 23 commitments from the 2024 recruitment class. Combine that with 60 players returning from the Rebel's most successful season in program history with their first 11-win season.

Lane Kiffin has put together a roster and coaching staff for the 2024 season that is one of the best in the nation. Coming off last season's performance, you can see why media outlets such as Pro Football Focus and 247 Sports have the Rebels ranked in the top 6 Way Too Early preseason rankings.

During the Grove Bowl, we will see the depth chart taking shape heading into fall camp. There are still question marks over a few position groups, with players having a good chance to put their best foot forward during spring practice and the bow game.

The game will be available to watch live on the SEC Network, with more details closer to the time.
