Recruiting never stops, though it may sometimes take a backseat during the season, especially when you are looking to push for a playoff spot. Lane Kiffin and his staff hosted plenty of recruits this past Saturday, with several in-state prospects on campus.

One of those Mississippi recruits was 2025 offensive lineman Mario Nash Jr., who is committed to rival Mississippi State. His recent visit to Oxford has gone down well, with Nash confirming his commitment isn't closed.

Flip prediction in for Mario Nash Jr. to Ole Miss

After his visit to Ole Miss, David Johnson of 247Sports Inside the Rebels made a crystal ball prediction for Nash to flip his commitment from Mississippi State to Lane Kiffin's team. He made the prediction yesterday, alongside one for another in-state prospect, 2026 defensive lineman JaReylan McCoy.

Nash got to experience the Walk of Champions, walk out the tunnel with Lane Kiffin, and catch up with Rebels staff John Garrison and Kelvin Bolden. The four-star offensive tackle said that Ole Miss was the No.2 behind the Bulldogs, with Florida State and Clemson also in the picture.

"“Ole Miss is No. 2. They’re right behind Mississippi State, Florida State is keeping in touch, too. Not much from Clemson lately. I will go to Tallahassee for an OV when they play Clemson.”"

Nash has said he will organize a visit to Ole Miss again before the final game of the season, the Egg Bowl in Oxford. Could the rivalry game be the significant factor in his commitment decision before December?
