When the SEC Media Days arrive, fans know the season is close. Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin will be on the podium around 1:50 p.m. CT, with Jaxson Dart, Tre Harris, and Jared Ivey following him.

The media will arrive armed with questions, plenty of them regarding the transfer portal class and the team's playoff chances. Concentrating on the three players that are representing Ole Miss, here is one question each player may be asked.

Jaxson Dart, Quarterback

How pleasing is it to see the depth of receiving talent around you?

It would be a surprise not to see this question put to Jaxson Dart. The senior quarterback was a prominent architect in helping put this 2024 roster together with his recruiting methods. Not only was he convincing offensive players to join, but he also recruited defensive players alongside Jared Ivey.

Dart played some part in getting Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins, and tight end Caden Prieskorn to return for the "Last Dance." However, he was also crucial in getting former All-SEC wide receiver Antwane "Juice" Wells to transfer from South Carolina. It gives Dart a potent passing attack.

Dart won't forget to mention the guys behind the starters. Four-star JUCO recruit Deion Smith is a talent, with sophomores Ayden Williams and Cayden Lee. The talent is some of the best in the nation, making life so much easier for a quarterback.

Tre Harris, Wide Receiver

What are your expectations and goals with a fully healthy season?

After a pleasing start to the 2023 season, with four touchdowns and 133 receiving yards in the opening game, Tre Harris had a setback. In the second game against Tulane, after 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, Harris injured his knee in the first quarter of the game.

Harris did not return and also missed the following two games against Georgia Tech and Alabama, recovering from knee surgery. A quick turnaround had him back on track and a key contributor on offense, but he fell short of a 1,000-yard receiving season for the second season.

Harris is a humble guy who will likely point to being the best he can be in every game for the team. He will think about reaching the 1,000 receiving yards milestone for the season, even if he doesn't mention it.

Jared Ivey, Defensive End

When you leave for the NFL, will you still keep up with hosting podcasts?

If this is asked, it will come from an Ole Miss media guy. If you don't know, defensive end Jared Ivey is the host of the Ivey League on OMSpirit, part of On3. Ivey is a natural on the mic, talking to some of the biggest names in Ole Miss sports, including having Lane Kiffin on the show.

Recently, he had Ole Miss basketball freshman John Bol and football transfer Chris Hardie on. Ivey has spoken to On3 regarding his future, not ruling out the possibility of going down the media route.

Jared Ivey is set to have a big season, along with some talented transfers along the defensive line. He will likely be asked about that on Monday.
