Head coach Lane Kiffin has said previously this is the best roster he has ever had on paper in his coaching career. They will have to produce on the field for a chance of postseason games, but the talent is obvious.

With the excitement around the roster, the ceiling for what the team can achieve is sky-high in 2024. If they can hit those heights, the current team could break some of the standing program records. Here is my prediction of what records could be broken this season.

Jaxson Dart- All-time passing yards in program history

Quarterback Jaxson Dart had his best season last season with 3,364 passing yards, taking him to No. 5 in the all-time leading passing yards at Ole Miss. It put Dart 3,781 yards behind current leader Eli Manning with 10,119. If Dart can improve again, something he has done in his last two seasons, he could be the outright leader in passing yards for the program.

Tre Harris - Most receiving yards in a single season

Despite missing three games last season, Tre Harris finished just shy of 1,000 receiving yards with 985. The program leader in a single season was A.J. Brown in 2018 with 1,320 yards. It would be a tough ask for Harris, but he is very capable. He could see less double coverage this season with the Rebels' talent at the receiver position.

Most regular season wins in program history

Ole Miss has never had more than ten regular-season wins; this season, they have a big chance of surpassing that. Eleven is definitely on the table, but if we don't see any injuries, don't rule out an unbeaten regular season.

First Heisman winner and Biletnikoff winner

The Ole Miss program is rarely in the mix for top postseason awards, such as the Heisman Trophy. This season, they have some legitimate chances on the roster to scoop the prize. Jaxson Dart will be in the mix for the Heisman Trophy, while Tre Harris could win the Biletnikoff Award, presented to the best wide receiver in the nation. Defensive tackle Walter Nolen is another stand-out player who could win a postseason award for the Rebels.
