At the weekend, Ole Miss safety Daijahn Anthony accepted his invite to the NFL scouting combine. Now, two more Rebels have accepted invitations to join Anthony in Indianapolis.

There will be three Ole Miss players down at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from Feb 29 to Mar 3 at the NFL scouting combine. Defensive end Cedric Johnson Jr and cornerback Deantre Prince will be looking to boost their draft stock alongside safety Daijahn Anthony.

Deantre Prince and Daijhan Anthony are in Frisco, Texas this week, competing in practices at the East-West Shrine Bowl before the game on Thursday. Cedric Johnson is doing the same in Mobile, Alabama before he takes part in the Senior Bowl on Saturday.

Cedric Johnson Jr committed to the Rebels in 2020, featuring in all four seasons. In his collegiate career, Johnson finished with 109 tackles and 19 sacks.

Johnson has some high-level attributes that will impress NFL scouts in Mobile this week. He will then be taking them to Indianapolis for the NFL Combine.

Deantre Prince has also spent all his time with the Rebels, coming off a very productive 2023 season. Prince is another prospect who has qualities that translate well to the next level.

All three players should be selected over the three days of this year's NFL draft. A good showing at the NFL combine will boost their chances of being drafted higher than expected.
