Ole Miss did more than just leave Auburn to bite the dust on Day 2 in the SEC Tournament to advance in the bracket; they also went on a record-breaking rampage for the Ole Miss program.

While securing a massive win to get one step closer to the Big Dance, the Rebels players made some personal and program records as well.

Christeen Iwuala, Cotie McMahon, and Latasha Lattimore all make some new records

Christeen Iwuala, the star of the night, scored 18 points with a field-leading nine rebounds.

She made all eight of her shot attempts, making her the first Rebel since Madison Scott to shoot and make eight shots in a single game. Scott accomplished her feat on Dec. 5, 2021, against Cincinnati.

Coach Yo's roster crown jewels, Cotie McMahon and Latasha Lattimore, weren't too far behind in the game, as well as breaking some records themselves.

McMahon's 13 points of the night were the 30th time that she reached a double-digit score, making her the most recent Rebel to have that many such games since Bianca Thomas in 2009-10.

With her 12 points, Lattimore secured three blocks to reach 71 for the year. That feat made her only the second Rebel in program history to reach at least 70 blocks in a single season. Promise Taylor in 2017-18 was the first.

Interestingly, with the Rebs still very much alive in the post season, lattimore has a chance to top Taylor's record of the highest single season blocks, 82, from that season.

The individual records weren't the only ones that were revisited on Thursday night. Their win against the Tigers marked their first win against the SEC foe in the SEC Tournament since 1993, when Ole Miss defeated Auburn, 69-55, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Even more, it was their sixth consecutive quarterfinal match appearance in the SEC Tournament, dating to 2021.

They face Vanderbilt next on Day 3.
