Since Will Stein is catching lightening in a bottle at Kentucky, and everyone is all ears for what he has to say.
While he's building the perfect roster for the Wildcats to make a run for the College Football Playoffs, he touched upon what is perhaps the hottest offseason narrative this season: Dabo Swinney's Tampering 301.
Essentially, Swinney claimed Ole Miss got in touch with their already committed LB Luke Ferrelli — with a picture of a blank $1 million check, while he was sitting in a sociology class.
Will Stein absolutely furious at Ole Miss' alleged attempts
In his interview with OutKick, the new Kentucky head coach went off in a frustrated rant on tampering.
"You can't text or call guys, you can't do that. So don't do it. You know, it's not that hard. I don't understand why it can be so difficult for coaches, and that's the rule," Stein said.
"That's what Dabo (Swinney) said. If that's the rule, follow the rule. And, if there are no rules… Everybody is bending it like that. Until they establish a clear, concise rule and get the calendar fixed where people don't have to do this, it's gonna happen. Play within the rules."
Stein's outrage over the alleged text from Golding was palpable form his mere words.
"There's like an agreement, like the hidden rules of baseball, you know what to do and what not to do. Just follow the agreements. That's not bending, you're still playing by the rules. But, don't text a kid. Is it that hard? I don't get that, it's not hard.

As much furious as Stein was over the whole incident, the topic ultimately boiled down to where the real problem lies.
Taking over Kentucky's head coaching reins recently, Stein opened up on how operating in the gray area becomes essentially unavoidable for the head coaches with the rules changeing "almost weekly, daily sometimes."
"It's crazy right? And, there's a lot of grey (areas), mostly grey. You have to do the best job as a coach of operating within the confines of the rules, you have to. The rules get skewed, they change almost weekly, daily sometimes, yearly. How do you keep up with this?" Stein noted.
As the heated topic keeps attracting more and more opinions, the NCAA continues with its investigation on Ole Miss putting them on the clock.
