There was a lot of noise when Lane Kiffin boarded that jet to Baton Rouge after months of leading on everyone in Oxford.
The outrage in December made it impossible to concentrate on the facts.
Now, three months later, facts continue to emerge that make Kiffin even more of a villain than he already is in Oxford.
If the Rebel nation hated Kiffin before, they will declare a blood feud against him after hearing how he led his football athletes on for months before finally making the move, from DT Zxavian Harris.
Zxavian Harris airs the dirty laundry on Lane Kiffin
"When Kiffin was there, he was telling us like almost every day, don't believe the rumors," Harris said in his media appearance at the NFL Combine.
"Like, he's not gonna leave, to keep us focused. But by the time it came, everybody was starstruck. He told us not to believe the rumors. We should have believed it, and he just left out of nowhere."
Sept. 19 was already the most-awaited day for Ole Miss fans, as they had marked their calenders in red for the day Kiffin stepped foot in the Grove yet again. The truthbomb from Harris might have just turned that Ole Miss vs' LSU game a personal, vengence-seeking vendetta against Kiffin.
Although at the combine, the DT has complete faith in Ole Miss just getting better after Kiffin in the hands of Pete Golding.
“I was pretty upset,” Harris said. “A lot of people, like younger cats, they were there for Kiffin and stuff. And since Kiffin left, they were just heartbroken. But we got better towards the season ended.”
“It’s gonna blast off. I know it’s gonna be way better than what Kiffin had did to it.”
Doesn't matter if the showdown is almost 6 months to go, the outrage is only getting stronger for the grudge match of the decade.
