3. Alabama

Let’s be honest: Alabama has dominated this series historically. Let’s be honest again: Ole Miss is no longer scared of Alabama. The Rebels have won two in a row, including winning last year in Tuscaloosa for only the second time ever.

There is no mistake that Nick Saban has made Alabama the gold standard in college football. However, Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss have ruffled some feathers in title town and have caused a little animosity between the two fan bases.

Most memorable games: 1988 Ole Miss 22, Alabama 12

2014 Ole Miss 23, Alabama 17

2015 Ole Miss 43, Alabama 37

Reason for the hate: I think the reason for the hate is pretty simple: Hugh Freeze. Before Freeze, Alabama did not really notice Ole Miss. They do now. Ole Miss has been the lone regular season loss for the Tide each of the last two seasons.

Yea, they have gone on to win the SEC both years and national title last year, but don’t let Alabama fans fool you, they want to beat Ole Miss worse than anyone else on the schedule this year.
