After a disappointing loss this past weekend Ole Miss football is taking advantage of a bye week and hoping to maintain their spots in the SEC stats.

Ole Miss football has the weekend off but there are Rebels who will be watching their stats this weekend. OHT has been following a number of Rebels who have been at the top or among the leaders of the SEC in their respective categories. The Rebels have players listed among the leaders in passing, rushing and receiving.

Rebels quarterback Jordan Ta’amu, running-back Scottie Phillips and NWO members AJ Brown, DK Metcalf and DaMarkus Lodge have been having great seasons and it is reflected among their SEC statistics. Despite the embarrassing 31-16 loss to the Auburn Tigers and the lackluster showing by the Rebels offense there were still some good numbers put up.

Jordan Ta’amu was 27 of 46 for 324 yards and 1 TD thru the air while Scottie Phillips had 17 carries for 59 yards on the ground. All-American AJ Brown had 10 receptions for 155 yards and 1 TD while DaMarkus Lodge had 5 receptions for 85 yards. Junior DK Metcalf is out for the season due to a neck injury so he didn’t play against the Tigers.
