The way the Lane Kiffin drama has been antagonizing the Ole Miss fans, a meltdown from them during the Egg Bowl would have been normal.
Instead, somehow, the coaching circus stealing the Egg Bowl's thunder made Mississippi fans act out.
Mississippi State fans break into Ole Miss locker room twice
What Lane Kiffin shared to Marty Smith during SEC This Morning was just an example of how intense, and simultaneously silly, the rivalry week can get.
In his pregame interview, Kiffin explained how QB Trinidad Chambliss' jersey was stolen the night before the Egg Bowl by Mississippi State fans when they broke into the locker room the night before the Egg Bowl, not once, but twice.
“Shoot, at 10 o’clock last night—luckily, our great Ken Crane, our equipment manager, hid secret cameras in the locker room so we could watch Mississippi State break into our locker room and start stealing things,” Kiffin told Smith.
“We reported to Mississippi State, they said they’d put security, and how about this? At 3 o’clock in the morning, they break in again and take Trinidad [Chambliss]’s jersey. So I guess you expect nothing less from these people.

Miss State is yet to confirm the pilfering, but if it is, Chambliss won't miss serving his revenge cold on the field vs. Miss State.
Ole Miss if off to a rough stater trailing 7 points behind Miss State in Q2. We;ll see how it goes from there.
Besides that, we have the whole untouched Kiffin coaching decision yet to explode. Only time will tell what other craziness it will bring to Starkville.
