De'Zhaun Stribing is the hottest name in the 2026 NFL portal out of Oxford.

Ever since Stribling put on a clinic at the Combine with his 4.36 electric speed and transfixed the NFL scouts, teams have been hot on his chase. The wideout has multiple interviews lined up and is considered a seriously underrated "sleeper" receiver in this year's draft.

Amid all the hype, ESPN's Matt Miller sees Stribling as a solid Round 3 pick. It's not the Round that's the highlight, though; its the team that Miller predicts picking Stribling.

Rams predicted to take De'Zhaun Stribling

No. 93 (Round 3) Los Angeles Rams: "The Rams are thin at wide receiver, other than Puka Nacua and an aging Davante Adams. Stribling is one of the best-kept secrets in the draft class and has big-time starter potential," Miller wrote.

Besides the obvious urgent need of depth that Miller stated, there are plenty of reasons why Stribling to the Rams would be a homerun.

Sean McVay treats wide receiver blocking like a religion, and Stribling is essentially a bigger and grittier version of Puka Nacua.

His 6'2" massive physique and his speed make him arguably the best perimeter blocker in the 2026 class. His drills at the Comebine showed he can win vertically in, and that is exactly what the Rams need as a safety net for their future with Adams in the twilight of his career.

Plus, Matthew Stafford can produce much better numbers with a receiver with a massive catch radius who can adjust to off-target throws. Stribling tape is full of catches where he pulls balls out of the air that have no business being caught.

With some practice and some experience behind Nacua and Adams, Stribling would be ready for a starting spot this year or the next.
