ESPN analyst Greg McElroy's prediction for the Ole Miss vs. the Florida will be music to the Rebel Nation's ears.

Ole Miss already entered the Florida week with a bang as the odds-on favorite to finally put an end to Florida's decade old-win streak over the them.

McElroy's prediction echoed the odds with Ole Miss as the winner, of course, but what he said about the final result was something the Rebels fans ware hoping for amid the insane rumors of Lane Kiffin going to Florida.

“I think this will be a rout in favor of the Rebels," Mcelroy said on Always College Football.

It would be really tough for Florida to bounce back

The Rebels team is a formidable one sure, but McElroy's reason behind his pick was his severe lack of confidence in Florida's ability to bounce back.

Billy Napier's firing has really taken a toll on the Gators, as they have been in a slump ever since the head coaching change.

When push came to shove, they even had to bench their star QB DJ Lagway after he threw for three interceptions in their last week's game against Kentucky.

"Now, prior to last week, I really liked Florida’s chances of playing spoiler. But this week, I don’t see it," McElroy said.

"Right now, when you watch DJ Lagway, there’s a lot of things that just give off the indication that he’s really uncomfortable,” McElroy said. “Last year, he was 6-1 as a starter, but so far, it’s been about the interceptions. So, whoever they go with, they have to get better at QB.”

When brushing upon their offensive and defensive scenarios, McElroy explained how the only way Florida's offense could not have a embarrassing score would be if they keep running the ball against the Rebels defense.

And as for the defense, McElroy suggests they simply have to be better. "They gave up 233 yards on the ground (last week). It was really a demoralizing performance from the Gators defense."

Florida hits the road to Oxford on Nov. 15 to take on Ole Miss.
