Industry insiders are strongly convinced about what Lane Kiffin's decision will be on Saturday.
Whether Kiffin leans towards LSU or Ole Miss for his future is the hottest question in college football right now. Rebels AD Keith Carter has revealed that the official decision will only come out on the day after the Egg Bowl on Saturday.
Till then, the industry experts are pitching in their predictions about where Kiffin could land, and it is Ole miss fans' nightmare, the one they have now grown to accept.
LSU to Kiffin twice as much believed as to Ole Miss
According to Brett McMurphy of On3, 80 college football analysts predicted where Kiffin would end up following the Egg Bowl.
Unsurprisingly, only 17 of the 80 saw Kiffin choosing to stay at Ole Miss. Whereas 59 of them — more than 70% predicted him choosing LSU over other programs, after the $90+ million contract leak.
Prominent analysts like Paul Finebaum, Kirk Herbstreit, Josh Pate, Joel Klatt, Desmond Howard, and more were on the side of Kiffin picking LSU.
Others like McMurphy, Chris Low, and Dave Portnoy still had hope about Kiffin not leaving Ole Miss after weeks of messy drama.

Then there were also some who believed schools like Florida, Alabama, and even the Tennessee Titans had a chance.
Odds, analysts, and rumors all have LSU as the best prediction for Kiffin's future following the Egg Bowl. That could possibly come with Kiffin not coaching the Rebels in the College Football Playoff.
Now, all we have to see is whether Kiffin lets the Playoff coaching be a deciding factor or not.
