For someone who committed in the Lane Kiffin era, Keegan Croucher is taking every shot to double down on his commitment to Ole Miss under Pete Golding.

And once again, he's doing so with his pitches to Rebels' top targets.

Mekai Brown to Ole Miss? Keegan Croucher hopes so

Mekai Brown could be the next elite commit for the Rebels, and Croucher is doing his part to seal the deal. "Come on home brotha," Croucher wrote with fins up emojis on a post announcing Brown's decision timeline.

Rated a Top 30 Recruit in the 2027 Rivals300, Brown is an elite prospect the every blue-blood is coveting. Brown, however, has narrowed his choices to five in particular, including USC, Notre Dame, TexasA&M, and Ohio State alongside Ole Miss, all fighting tooth and nail to lure Brown.

Per Hayes Fawcett of rivals, Brown has officially set the clock. Friday, April 17, is the Big Reveal. Until then, the staffers from each shortlisted school will be scrurring around to make every last-ditch pitch to change the GreenWich Country Day EDGE's decision to favor them.

Croucher working his phone to get the elite prospects in for his class is a mastermind move from Golding, sure, but it shows more about the QB.

Joe Judge and Charlie Weis Jr. were the primary staffers in Croucher's recruitment. He could have easily jumped the fence and no one would even question it. But he stayed, and then turned down the some pretty lucrative offers from several other blue-bloods trying to poach him.

If that wasn’t enough to prove his commitment, he's been all over social media, directly sending clear message to elite recruits to come to Oxford.

Brown isn't his first rodeo either. Most recently, Croucher vouched for Ole Miss to Braylon Calais to pick the Rebels.

Whichever recruit Golding scores next will be another win on top of the massive one they have scored with Croucher.
