Ole Miss Rebels would finally be getting the answer they have awaited for a long time from Lane Kiffin.
AD Keith Carter reported last week after his meeting with Kiffin that the final call would be ready by after the Egg Bowl on Saturday.
Now that the Egg Bowl is done, the impatience surrounding Kiffin's pick between LSU and Ole Miss is at an all-time high.
However, gives Kiffin's history of slyly side stepping questions about his future, it would be no surprise if he did the same on Saturday.
Lane Kiffin on Saturday's timeline
When asked about it post-Egg Bowl win, Kiffin's answer made it sound like he was still indecisive about the situation.
“I feel like I gotta," Kiffin said when asked if he would be making a decision Saturday.

“No, I haven’t (made up my mind),” Kiffin told ESPN’s Taylor McGregor on the broadcast.
“I’ve got a lot of praying to do to figure that out tomorrow, but right now, I’m just going to go enjoy these players. I told them last night, you’re going to win your 11th game, and all I want to do is experience joy watching you, and that’s what I’m about to do.”
Lot rides on which side Kiffin picks after the long, stretched-out drama. If Kiffin picks LSU, his credentials and reputation takes a hit, and Ole Miss potentially losses their head coach for the College Football Playoff.
If he stays at Ole Miss, than fans would be outraged for stringing them along for so long.
Just a few hours till we know which way it will go.
