Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin has his way of slyly flirting with the coaching rumors without making anything too obvious.

He had already been having his fun with the Florida rumors, keeping the Gators fans desperately waiting for a signal. Now it seems that he might be planning to do the same with the Giants fans.

Lately, there have been fleeting rumors floating Kiffin as a potential Giants head coach.

The Ole Miss head coach took to his social media to hint that it is not happening.

"It's too cold for me in New York," Kiffin reposted a tweet of his answer to Jaxson Dart's father.

Last week, Giants QB Dart's father mentioned asking Lane Kiffin whether he would take on the Giants job. The statement alone was enough to pique interest since Brian Daboll is still the New York head coach, even with his hot seat meter a shade of burning red.

“As we were texting on our Kiffin-Dart family text thread, because I think Boomer Esiason had said something in the media today that maybe they should throw out a potential coaching (offer) to Kiffin, and he just sent it over with a smirk and just said, ‘It’s too cold in New York for me.’ It’s just kind of funny,” Jaxson’s father, Brandon, told the “Bleav in Ole Miss” podcast.

Kiffin reposts, as of lately, have been a textbook example of him sending mixed signals. He didn't spare the feelings of Florida fans either as he reposted an update of DJ Lagway getting benched.

And knowing the now frustrating desperation to hear a response from Kiffin among the Florida fans, it was the worst (and the best) way he could have left them guessing.

And by the looks of it, it does not seem that Kiffin is stopping anytime soon. Well, at least not until he signs his contract extension with Ole Miss.
