Lane Kiffin's latest social media posts shows he's still hilariously tone-deaf

Lane Kiffin has simply aced the art of playing it innocent.

Because how is it that someone sabotages a program multiple times and then tries extending an olive branch to the obvious trolling on social media?

The list is quite long in itself, but Kiffin's latest attempts at gutting Ole Miss include reportedly leaking term sheets in the locker room to poach the established Rebels star, all while continuing to steal its staff still.

Just a day after signing Ole Miss edge Princewill Umanmielen, Kiffin tried waiving the white flag on the internet to calm down the hatred hurled at him.

"It’s a sport guys. Stop attacking each other personally and each others families. Move on and both sides just enjoy what they have. Make a grateful list of what you have this morning and focus on that and not what you don’t have," Kiffin wrote on X, tagging Ole Miss and LSU with a big, taunting 'let it go' hashtag.

The post was a reply to Matt Bowers tweet of a summary of the points of arguments between Ole Miss and LSU fans.

Kiffin's antics getting out of hand

Either Kiffin is trying to be sarcastic, or playing it innocent.

Either way, it's not working.

Another point to note is that this whole nice guy act stems from the LSU head coach collecting a $500,000 bonus from the Rebels' CFP run.

If anything, posts like these will only continue attracting more outrage from the Ole Miss fans.

The main reason is Kiffin's actions ridiculing his words. Stealing TJ Dottery and Umanmielen were perhaps Kiffin's biggest transfer portal wins.

And that's not even touching upon poaching the staffers like Charlie Weis Jr. and other assistant coaches who coached the Rebels through the semifinals.

Of course, he's not stopping here. On Sunday, Kiffin landed another Ole Miss staffer, assistant strength and conditioning coach Jordan Sims.

With every tone-deaf tweet and underhanded roster raid, Kiffin has effectively cemented his status as a permanent villain in Oxford for generations to come.
