Lane Kiffin's social media antics are pure entertainment at this point, as his tweets continue painting him as the still hung-up ex.
Notorious for holding onto the smallest grudges for the longest time, Kiffin just put up a show that is particularly amusing for Ole Miss fans. As if his one-sided feud with Hugh Freeze wasn't enough, Kiffin jumped at dragging Golding into it the first chance he got.
Lane Kiffin drags Pete Golding into his Hugh Freeze feud
Golding was purely minding his own business at the Par 3 Masters when Kiffin butted in with a Freeze comparison.
Seeing Golding swinging his club took him right back to his feud with Freeze, as he referred to the Ole Miss head coach as "looking just like Hugh Freeze buddy," and even threw in a "great swing" compliment.
Golding isn't the one to take shots at anyone unless they're serious allegations, and he has made it absolutely clear by now. He's too busy building a National Championship squad at Ole Miss.
Most likely, the Rebels head coach won't be even paying attention to the tweet, or might just post a fins up as a response. But not the Rebel Nation.
Ever since Kiffin boarded that final jet to Baton Rogue mid-Playoff, Ole Miss fans have been desperaterly waiting for his return to the Vaught-Hemingway.
LSU vs. Ole Miss is considered one of the most charged matchups of 2026 season as it is. Kiffin keeps on giving more reasons to Ole Miss fans to make the atmosphere even more hostile.
Usually, Kiffin isn't the one to stop with just one tweet in online barbs like these. The more he tweets, the sweeter the revenge will sound on Sep. 19.
