Lane Kiffin hardly ever does anything without his witty remarks. More often than not, they're pointed at other head coaches. Classic Kiffin.

So this time, when it came to burying the hatchet with Ole Miss's Pete Golding, Kiffin did it with a jab at Kirby Smart's golfing skills.

It all started back when Kiffin commented on Golding's golfing skills, comparing him to Hugh Freeze's "swing."

"Looking just like Hugh Freeze buddy," Kiffin said with a "great swing" compliment.

So, when Golding was at the Regions Tradition Pro-Am in Hoover, Alabama, on April 29, the Kiffin question had to be brought up for Golding's reaction.

Golding, being his usual self, took the higer road, and shut down all the rumors of bad blood, calling it their friendly routine instead.

"The good thing about Lane is you get Lane. The bad thing about Lane is you get Lane," Golding said.

"We're good friends and we poke at each other a little bit, but there's no ill intention."

Lane Kiffin's reaction to Pete Golding's comments

Once again, it was an open opportunity waiting for Kiffin to pounce on it, and he did.

Kiffin reposted the video of Golding's comments on April 30, writing, "Love you too @CoachGolding. Hope you beat (Georgia coach Kirby Smart) in golf also," in response.

Georgia losing to Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl will still remain the point that stings UGA fans the most, and one they also avoid talking about.

This is not the first time that Kiffin has poked dun at Smart either.
