Ole Miss football QB Trinidad Chambliss has tied for several school records since he took over the keys to Lane Kiffin's offense, and recently he added another feather to his hat.
So far, the QB has started six games for the Rebels, and has unlocked some numbers that only the elite QBs in program history could.
Chambliss became the only QB in Ole Miss program history to have 250+ passing yards through six starts since Eli Manning in 2001.

And not just through six games, Chambliss has put up a performance that stood out each time, except for when they lost to Georgia.
The Ferris State transfer completed 24 of 44 passes for 315 yards and one touchdown while adding 12 carries for 53 yards against OU.
When asked about the feat, Chambliss choose the humble path.
“It’s great to be mentioned with him, but I’m just trying to help us win games,” he said. “That’s what matters.”
Chambliss made another program QB record
Tying with Manning isn't the only program record Chambliss has matched.
Earlier this season, when Chambliss had just three starts, he became the only QB in the SEC to have 300+ passing yards and 50+ rushing yards for three consecutive games.
He was also reportedly the only SEC QB in the past 30 years to put up those numbers.
When mentioning his feats at Ole Miss, Chambliss gave the Rebels' offense the credit where it was due.
“Very happy we got the win. Last week we were very disappointed we couldn’t get the win. I’m just proud of our defense, really. They stepped up, made some huge stops that we needed. Our offense started off really hot in the first half. It’s a great feeling to be 1-0 again. Played well," he said.
It will only be an upward trajectory from here for the Ole Miss QB, one that will probably see him tie several other program records.
