Somehow, the announcement of Lane Kiffin's decision between Ole Miss and LSU got all the attention that should have been on the Rebels' spectacular 11-1 season instead.
Today is the day Kiffin would finally end the speculation after months of keeping everyone guessing.
Every single time there was a surge in the rumors and it called for the Rebels' head coach addressing the rumors, Kiffin evaded all of it.
This time, however, Ole Miss is finally pushing for the answer from Kiffin, something they should have done a long time ago to have more clarity surrounding their College Football Playoff future.
ESPN's Peter Burns reported "Ole Miss pushing to have an answer by at least Saturday morning."

“I feel like I gotta," Kiffin said when asked if he would be making a decision Saturday.
“No, I haven’t (made up my mind),” Kiffin told ESPN’s Taylor McGregor on the broadcast, he added about whether he has a decision.
“I’ve got a lot of praying to do to figure that out tomorrow, but right now, I’m just going to go enjoy these players. I told them last night, you’re going to win your 11th game, and all I want to do is experience joy watching you, and that’s what I’m about to do.”
Whatever he decides today will not only send shockwaves across college football, but will also affect how most remaining hires turns out this season.
