247Sports cast flip prediction for 2025 offensive tackle Tyler Miller

Ole Miss football has been involved in several flip predictions by David Johnson of 247Sports Inside the Rebels site. Rumors about in-state Mississippi quarterback Deuce Knight potentially flipping his commitment from Notre Dame to the Rebels haven't gone away. Now, another Mississippi prospect is being predicted to flip his commitment.

Current LSU commit Tyler Miller has been predicted to flip his commitment to his home state, Ole Miss. It comes after an official visit a few weeks ago, with Miller since visiting the Tigers before the prediction was made. David Johnson said the prediction was cast due to intelligence gathered after both visits.

Miller is the No. 12 offensive tackle in the country and the No.4 ranked player in Mississippi per 247Sports. The Laurel High School prospect is rated a four-star prospect across all four recruiting sites. He can play a handful of positions across the offensive line, with On3 ranking him as the No. 23 inside offensive lineman.

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff have ramped up recruiting in-state. They already have four commits from the state of Mississippi. Not only are they targeting uncommitted recruits, but they are also looking to flip players in-state. The momentum does not look to be slowing down for the Rebels.

Ole Miss has a high chance of commitment from IMG cornerback

Ole Miss are one of four schools in with a chance of gaining a commitment from 2025 cornerback Major Preston. Plaing high school football at IMG Academy, Preston is set to announce his commitment in early July, with Ole Miss, Colorado, Florida and Virginia Tech his final four.

According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, Preston is the No. 39 ranked cornerback and No. 64 overall ranked player in Florida. He has received offers from some top schools, including Michigan, Miami, and Texas.
