Ole Miss women's basketball is currently in a Top 10 SEC hangover.
The past week has been brutal and packed for the Rebels, and they came out with a dent in their postseason chances, dropping three of their last four.
What is on line for Ole Miss against Florida
On Sep. 26, they take on their second-to-last regular season opponents, the Florida Gators, in what will be a heist to snap their 2-game loss streak and put some wins on their regular season record.
They might not have the home advantage this time, as they hit the road to O'Connell Center, Gainesville, but they will have be playing with their back against the wall to put an end to their 2-loss streak.
Another loss would mean a direct hit to the postseason chances that Coach Yo and her squad worked for the entire regular season. Ole Miss already sat at No. 15 in the NCAA's early Top 16 seeds.
Florida might not be in Top 16, but losing against them would mean a third-straight loss, a chance that Coach Yo would not like taking this close to possibly hosting the Big Dance this season in Oxford.
Cotie McMahon's comeback?
The Rebels' star forward, Cotie McMahon, had one of her worst nights this regular season, finishing with just 2 points, in their last game against South Carolina.
She will most definitely be on the lookout for a redemptive night. Besides McMahon, Christeen Iwuala (12) and Latasha Lattimore (8) had a better night against the Gamecocks than usual.
If McMahon, Iwuala, and Lattimore get on the same page, they can not only win this one, they can absolutely dominate the Gators.
All Ole Miss needs is the confident McMahon back for the night, to finish off their last away game in style.
