Lane Kiffin's eleventh-hour defection from Ole Miss to LSU created NFL-wide ripples.

And, frankly, the NFL players had the most proportionate reactions by far, given the insanity leading up to and following Kiffin's move.

Joe Burrow, Travis Kelce, and Eli Manning go off on Lane Kififn

While the Ole Miss Rebels players called Kiffin's bluff, their reactions could hardly be described as angry. It was just calling a spade a spade.

The NFL players, however, have some animated responses when asked about Kiffin's CFP-eve abandonment.

Joe Burrow's now-viral reaction is by far the most hilarious. When asked about his thoughts on the new LSU head coach, Burrow took a deep breath and a good long pause to carefully pick his words before saying, "I think he's a good coach. I guess we'll see how it goes."

His shrug before giving his answer said more than his words did.

Travis Kelce, on the other hand, sounded frustrated and annoyed at Ole Miss's situation.

"It's a clusterf***, and it's definitely putting the team and the players at a disadvantage when you don't have your head coach, or your offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, things like that," Kelce said on New Heights.

The Chiefs TE even suggested NCAA becoming more stricter about it, an shared emotion running strong in Oxford since weeks.

"I mean, there needs to be some sort of rule by the NCAA that you can't start looking for new job opportunities until after the season, because Ole Miss is going to go into the College Football Playoff with someone's dad as a helper."

The Rebels' legend Eli Manning, however, had the simplest reaction to the rather public affair.

He joked with a simple "Oops!" to Kiffin's claim of an Ole Miss fan running him off the road at airport on Sunday.

But that was after Kiffin's official press conference as LSU coach; before that, he even pitched in his own name to replace Kiffin.

"Coach Manning' has a nice ring to it," Manning tweeted.

Yet still, all this seems like just the beginning of reactions to Kiffin handling the reins at LSU. We can only wait for the more hilariously brutal ones.
