To keep up with Ole Miss fully, you must also keep an eye on their SEC rivals. Here are your best ways to keep up with all 14 teams from the SEC on Twitter.

Twitter is a wonderful tool. The problem with people who do not understand the concept, many simply do not follow the correct people. The beautiful part of Twitter is you make your entertainment bubble as large or small as you like.

For Southeastern Conference fans, I encourage you to pick a person/group that covers each team and follow them. For me, that allows me a look inside each SEC program in all sports. I make sure that person/group covers all sports. In some instances, you might need to follow a few different accounts but one is a must.

Also, a rule of thumb, is follow each official account of the sport you are interested in. Those can be accessed by simply typing them in the search bar on Twitter.

Below are the top overall follows for each school in the SEC that will keep you up to date with all of the happenings on campus. From official releases, injuries, scores and breaking news, if you follow these, you’ll be off to a great start for the 2016 football season.

SEC West:

Alabama: @Marq_Burnett: Marq started off inside the Alabama media circle covering the Crimson Tide, and now is a member of the Atlanta Journal Constitution group of @SECCountry writers. He does a wonderful job, while pretty new to the beat. He is your go-to for Alabama.

More from Ole Hotty Toddy

Arkansas: @BobHoltADG: A guy who’s covered the Hogs for the Arkansas Democrat Gazette since 1981 does a nice job keeping you in the loop of all things Razorbacks.

Auburn: @BMarcello: Brandon has covered Miss State for the Clarion Ledger and then had a stint at AL.com, before joining @SECCountry not long ago. There is no one that covers Auburn like Brandon. He is your contact for the War Eagles.

LSU: @RossDellenger: I’ll have to admit, LSU has a great Twitter presence. You could literally pick ten accounts to follow. At the end of the day, Ross, from the Advocate, is always solid and will take care of you.

Ole Miss: @SpiritBen: If you are an Ole Miss fan, you probably follow Ben Garrett of the Ole Miss Spirit. Ole Miss also has a great Twitter presence but Ben is a must follow.

Miss. State: @JoelTColeman: For me, my MSU information starts and ends with Joel. He covers the Bulldogs for the Starkville Daily News. From football to softball, Joel hits it out of the park. Be sure and read about all MSU news from @JoshBarne and @JustinStrawnMWN on @MandWnation

Texas A&M: @GBHunting: The SB Nation site for A&M, here you will get all the Aggie news and information you need. They are a terrific source for recruiting in Texas as well.

SEC East:

Florida: @OSGators: Edgar Thompson is the beat writer for the Orlando Sentinel. He is all things Gators.

Georgia: @SethEmersonAJC: Seth has been on the beat covering the Dawgs long enough for me to know he is the top dog on the beat. No need to “hunker down” with anyone else on the beat.

Kentucky: @KyleTucker_CJ: Kyle covers the Wildcats for the Louisville Courier-Journal and previouslly covered Va Tech for eight years. He is one of the few that covers all sports and not just hoops. A great follow.

Missouri: @Steve_Walentik: I admit, before Mizzou came to the SEC, I didn’t know a great deal about the program. My delima was solved when I followed Steve. He won’t let you down.

South Carolina: @JoshatTheState: josh is the South Carolina beat writer for The State newspaper. He always brings the noise.

Tennessee: @WesRucker247: Wes is the senior writer at GoVols247. Just follow him. This is the easy way. Anything, everything, Big Orange. He hates Marshall Henderson so be aware come hoops season.

More rebels: 2017 NFL Draft to feature more Ole Miss Rebels in 1st round

Vanderbilt: @AdamSparks: Adam is the man at the Tennessean who covers the ‘Dores. Also, follow @TeresaMWalker from the Associated Press. She is a great go-to for Vandy, Predators, Vols, Griz and Titans.

Now that you have your SEC Twitter fix, get ready for an exciting football season to come.
