D.D. Bowie, Defensive back

More from Ole Miss Football

D.D. was the highest recruit in Ole Miss’ 2017 recruiting class via 247 sports. Playing WR/QB in high school, D.D. has transformed to play the defensive back position for the Rebs. Fun fact, D.D. was coached by the cousin of Ole Miss icon Deuce McAllister.

The talent, speed, and length that he possesses will allow Bowie to keep up with the SEC receivers. Coach McGriff stated that “D.D. is making plays in practice….it is mandatory for him to play this year”.

This year I expect our secondary to be tenfold better than last years. Which finished second to last in total interceptions in the SEC, in the 2015 Sugar bowl campaign the Rebs had the second most only falling behind Alabama.
