Currently, Marquis Haynes has a career total of 23.5 sacks. Only 3 behind Greg Hardy. Honestly, the only thing stopping Marquis from breaking this record is an injury (knock on wood). One of the best ends in the SEC he will be the main focus for most opposing teams.
But with the starting defensive line that the Rebs have put together if they focus on Haynes, the other talented landsharks will be there ready to take advantage.
Only needing three, I’m going to take two guesses. The first one, my prediction is that he will finish the season with 29 sacks. Something that will not be broken for the foreseeable future. The second prediction is he will break the record in the Alabama game.
