The Arkansas Razorbacks under Brett Bielema are not thought of as a defensive team. We’ve seen the shoot-out element of games with the Hogs in the past. Of course, how can we forget the 4th and 25 game in Oxford a few years back? It’s th game which kept the Rebels out of Atlanta.
Plain and simple, this Hog defense is porous at best. Of course, we could overlay the Hog defense with the Rebels defense and there wouldn’t be much difference between the two. Both defenses are terrible.
Arkansas is talented on the defense and has some big play-makers on this side of the ball. Senior defensive back Kevin Richardson is currently tied for 2nd among DBs in the SEC with 3 INTs so far this season.
The Hogs have a good defensive front with very talented linemen although they rank last in the SEC in sacks. The defense has also caused 5 fumbles which they recovered. This defense may not be the best in the SEC, however they are an SEC West foe and the Rebels will have to stay on their toes.
