Who Will It Be?

More from Ole Miss Football

Last season we watched as Indy Colts running back Jordan Wilkins rushed for over 1K yards in the Phil Longo offense. Running backs thrive in the Longo backfield and now the Rebels are set to have another 1K yard rusher. The question this season isn’t as much if it will happen as who it will be? The Rebels have a very good depth chart at the RB position. Trust me, it’s no strike against any back on the roster this season.

Last season Wilkins was the premier back in the Ole Miss backfield. This season there will be a new charge and we just really don’t know who it will be. We do have our favorite and for OHT it is Scott Phillips. He was ranked the No.1 JUCO running-back in the nation and was an early enrolled player for the spring practice. Phillips could easily be that RB who breaks a 1K mark this season.

OHT Prediction: Scottie Phillips Breaks 1K Yards Rushing
