With everything which has transpired since the end of the 2016 season, it really couldn’t be better. Considering there is a self-imposed bowl ban and other penalties, and there have been no player transfers, I’d say it is very good.

Of course, right after the release of the amended NOA, there was a sense of unity among the team which extended from many of the apparent team leaders.

Senior RB Jordan Wilkins was one of the first to commit to this team and this upcoming season.

Of course, other players soon followed suit, showing a unified front for Ole Miss football and their commitment to the team, Coach Freeze, and the mission of Ole Miss. Shea Patterson was also one who stepped forward.

This team has managed to stick close together and many others have followed the lead of Wilkins and Patterson, stepping forward to acclaim their loyalty to the team, coaches, and most importantly each other.
