O.M.G.

More from Ole Miss Football

When I saw it in all its beauty, I nearly shed a tear. I had heard people talk about it but never thought it would be that magnificent. To share that moment with my sons was special. It was like watching bigfoot riding a unicorn over and rainbow and finding the leprechaun with the pot of gold.

What am I talking about? I got to see the Rebels run back a kick off for a TOUCHDOWN! O.M.G. It was amazing. Jaylon Jones returned a second half kickoff to the house for a total of 97 yards. I had to replay it two or three times to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating off of the peppers in my salsa dip.

The last time a Rebel returned a kick back for a touchdown was in 2012. Jaylen Walton had a huge TD against Texas. Five years between touchdowns. However, I don’t believe this will be the last one for the year. We are ushering in the new era of special teams. Hopefully.
